Design Architect: Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo (WATG)
Inspired by the Italian village of Portofino, a series of rivers and canals connect this hotel with various Universal Studios attractions. Architecture compliments the Italian vernacular while promoting state-of-the-art hotel accommodations and services for the 750 rooms, three Presidential Suites, hospitality wing with meeting rooms, two ballrooms, three function rooms, eight restaurants, two bars, a 10,600-SF fitness center, two pools, along with butler service and the “Smart Room” system that automatically reports room malfunctions, signals whether the mini-bar needs replenishing, and notifies housekeeping of room vacancy. Retail and a full service business center are available.
