Sanitary Sewer Survey | Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona
Client: MCAS Yuma/Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest
The MCAS Yuma sanitary sewer survey was performed by Huitt-Zollars to provide the station with a photo-based analysis and a Geographic Information System of the conditions of all sewer systems. The scope of work included surveying, engineering analysis, mapping, and the development of prioritization and phasing reports. Huitt-Zollars' responsibilities included providing GPS survey data of each sewer manhole, incorporating this data into an Environmental Systems Research Institute (ERSI)-based geographic information system (GIS) using both the base's existing hard copy sewer information and the Tri-Services GIS standards, analyzing and synthesizing the results of the video log into the GIS, and providing the station with recommendations regarding the prioritization and phasing of sewer system improvements.
