Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District

Huitt-Zollars inspected seven spillway bridges for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District. The scope of work included the inspection and evaluation of the condition for each bridge; determination of any repairs, maintenance, or improvements required; calculation of the load rating for the bridges; and completion of a Corps of Engineers Bridge Inventory System (CEBIS). A bridge snooper was utilized for tactile inspection of all bridge elements; four of the bridges were fracture critical structures requiring special inspections. The bridges are located in Copan, Hulah, Keystone, Eufaula, Fort Gibson, Canton, and Hugo, Oklahoma.
