Huitt-Zollars secured entitlements, provided construction administration during demolition, and provided construction documents for a new parking area, circulation aisle, and new utilities. The project sprang from the site purchase, expansion, and revenue projections of this high profile retail anchor. The 20,000-SF expansion lends significant value to the popular shopping destination that contributes nearly 25% to the city-wide tax base. Project goals were met while ensuring customer access to the shopping center was not impeded. Huitt-Zollars' relationship with the City and County of Denver allowed many required permits and signoffs to happen seamlessly, in spite of numerous blizzards.
