TEX Rail Equipment Maintenance Facility (EMF)

The TEX Rail project is a 27.2-mile commuter rail system that will run between downtown Fort Worth and the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and will be operated by the Fort Worth Transportation Authority. Huitt-Zollars is the Project Manager and Engineer-of-Record providing design and construction support services for the 48,000-square-foot vehicle Equipment Maintenance Facility (EMF). The EMF is located on a 22-acre site and will service, maintain, fuel, and store the eight Stadler Flirt Diesel Motorized Units (DMUs) that will operate on this line.
