US-79, Sections 5A and 5b | Williamson County, Texas
Client: Williamson County
US-79, Section 5A and 5B are two Pass-Through Finance projects between Williamson County and the Texas Department of Transportation. The original roadway consisted of a four-lane, two-way, undivided roadway. The 65-MPH opposing traffic was separated only by a double four-inch yellow stripe. The resulting roadway was designed and constructed with a typical 30-foot grassy median between opposing traffic. The projects also included construction of left and right turn lanes. Huitt-Zollars provided full-time Construction Engineering and Inspection services on these projects.
