Huitt-Zollars is pleased to announce Jill Manning has been named the firm’s Controller. Jill joined Huitt-Zollars 8 years ago as the firm’s Billing Manager and Vision System Administrator and was promoted to an Associate in 2018.
In her new role, she will oversee and manage the company’s corporate accounting functions and staff including billing, accounts payable, and payroll. Jill will also maintain day-to-day accounting operations such as financial reporting, tax compliance, and risk management while assisting the CFO in executing the firm’s financial strategies and goals. As Controller, Jill will be responsible for our ERP system and will manage the implementation of Forecast Edge. Additionally, she will work with the COO to implement a new set of controls for projects across the company.
Jill brings more than 20 years of experience in project accounting, project management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to the role. She is well versed in accounting software conversions and upgrades. In her time with Huitt-Zollars, she has evolved to become the Vision expert for system integration efforts, partnering with operations, including accounting, HR, IT, marketing and project teams, and coordinating the development and delivery of training to users. Jill has proven success managing the billing team, implementing new processes and improving procedures.
Jill earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Seattle Pacific University. Additionally, she is a Certified Deltek Vision Professional.
