Harmony Road Bridge

Huitt-Zollars, as the bridge consultant, prepared construction documents for a new bridge over the Cache La Poudre River to accommodate the widening Harmony Road from two lanes to four lanes between the I-25 East Frontage Road and County Road 5. Huitt-Zollars prepared studies to determine the most feasible alternative for the new structure. The new bridge was required to be of constant width, on tangent alignment, and with no skew. Construction traffic control was required to complete the work in no greater than two phases. Huitt-Zollars provided construction administration services throughout the duration of field activities. The work was performed for the Town of Timnath and was designed in accordance with the Colorado Department of Transportation’s Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (SSRBC), 2005 Edition.
