The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley: The Hogwarts Express

This project includes both the “King’s Cross” and “Hogsmeade” stations and elevated train track. The stations link guests via the “Hogsmeade Express” between the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” within Universal’s Islands of Adventure park and the new “Diagon Alley” located in Universal Studios.

“King’s Cross” station is located in the Studios park of Universal Orlando. The 40,000-square-foot facility includes themed guest queue station and glazed barrel vaulted station platform replicating the original King’s Cross station in London.

“Hogsmeade” station is located in Universal’s Islands of Adventure park. The 30,000-square-foot structure is a full-scale replication of the station characterized in the “Harry Potter” films. The two-level facility is highly-themed rusticated field stone with sharp roof peaks clad with slate tiles. The building is sited within a heavily wooded landscape in order to recreate the setting portrayed in the film.
