San Jacinto College - Transportation Center

Architectural design services were provided for the new 84,600-SF Transportation Center, an Automotive Tech Center programmed to meet the National Automotive Technical Education Foundation accreditation requirements. Designs support a variety of high bay manufacturer labs with corresponding classrooms and offices: a 10-bay all-purpose lab, instructional areas [six small classrooms, two engine repair classrooms, engine performance/fuels classroom, and an electrical classroom]; an academic administration office suite; a 100-seat multi-purpose room with prep room, catering kitchen and furniture storage space; a student break room; and building support areas. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.
