Huitt-Zollars was retained by the City to prepare a master plan for the Rockwood Park. Huitt-Zollars addressed improvements to baseball and softball fields including additional parking and new striping for existing facilities; improved ADA access; new and renovated lighting; new fencing and seating; new scoreboard; a new community pavilion with seating; grills, and trash receptacles; new playground facility; new hike and bike trails; grading and drainage improvements; and an irrigation system to address water conservation techniques. Deliverables included the site analysis, conceptual plans, final master plan, cost estimates, and presentations to the community and stakeholders.
