Grouse Street Force Main Rehabilitation

As the Design Engineer and Construction Manager, Huitt-Zollars prepared a Preliminary Study Report to assess the condition of approximately 16,000 linear feet of the Grouse Street Force Main. The study includes population projections, hydraulic analysis and evaluation of route alternatives, and cost-effective methods to rehabilitate/replace the main. The new force main line is a 30-inch PVC sewer pipe (165, DR 25). Lift station improvements include a pump replacement; installation of a generator with fuel tank; constructing a switchgear room for electrical equipment including a main circuit breaker, circuit breaker coordination, new switchboard feeder and connection of all electrical equipment.
