Huitt-Zollars Names Carson Linstead, PE, Managing Principal of Fort Worth Office

Carson Linstead, PE, MBA recently joined Huitt-Zollars as a Principal and Vice President in the Federal Practice and is now taking on the role as Managing Principal of the Fort Worth office. As a principal of the firm, Carson is responsible for expanding business by developing existing and new clients, building and mentoring staff, and participating in the local professional community. 


Carson brings over 13 years of specialized experience in electrical engineering and has applied this knowledge through project management and client management. He has focused on developing high-performance teams by sharing technical, financial, marketing, and recruiting knowledge to ensure positive relationships with internal and external project stakeholders. Carson began his career at Huitt-Zollars in 2011 as an intern and was promoted to an Associate in 2018. Prior to rejoining Huitt-Zollars in 2023, Carson served as a Mission Critical Operations Manager and Project Manager for another consulting firm. Through these roles, he has integrated knowledge of operational and strategic leadership through construction administration, software expertise, contract negotiation, and design collaboration to facilitate the delivery of several large-scale projects.


Carson earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. He is a member of the 2023 class of Emerging Leaders of North Texas, a program specializing in personal and professional growth for leaders desiring to positively impact North Texas.  He also serves as Board President for Imagination Fort Worth, a local non-profit targeting STEM education through the use of art and creativity.
