Huitt-Zollars proudly welcomes Erik Finley, P.E. to our team as an Associate and Senior Project Manager in the transportation practice in our Seattle office. Erik is a seasoned project manager and registered civil engineer with 30 years of experience, specializing in site development, transportation, stormwater management, and wet and dry utilities on private and public works projects. His expertise includes providing project management throughout the planning, permitting, design, and construction phases.
Before joining the firm, Erik served as a Senior Civil Engineer and contributed to the construction of a 3-mile extension of light rail guideway, two light rail stations, a 1500-stall parking garage, utility relocations, and adjacent roadway improvements in Snohomish County. He demonstrated his leadership by managing technical design teams and collaborating with external stakeholders including state highway departments, local transit authorities, cities, fire authorities as well as public and private utilities. He has held positions as Project Manager and Project Engineer where his responsibilities included project management, design engineering, construction management, and coordination with clients, permitting agencies, contractors, and internal design teams. Erik has also played key roles in stormwater program development, drainage analysis, site development, and project management.
Erik earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Saint Martin’s College and is a licensed Civil Engineer in the state of Washington.
