We are pleased to announce Hai Dang, PE, PMP, has joined Huitt-Zollars as Vice President and Managing Principal of our San Diego office. In this role, Hai will lead company operations and business development initiatives in San Diego as well as expand the firm’s Federal practice.
Hai brings a diverse background of over 20 years of experience supporting federal, municipal, and private sector clients with facilities, infrastructure, and disaster relief projects. His broad range of experience has focused on overseeing, managing, and administering the operations of multiple projects from design through construction. In his previous roles as Program and Project Manager, he has managed client and stakeholder expectations to generate requirements for project and budgets as well as site planning and specialized engineering, including airfield planning. He has also served as Program Manager and Military Aide, Assistant Facilities Engineer, and Design and Construction Project Manager for the U.S. Coast Guard in which he possesses an elite sophistication of technical and administration work.
Hai earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, and is an MBA Candidate at The Wharton School. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Virginia as well as a certified project management professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
