Huitt-Zollars is excited to announce the recent hire of Joseph T. Myers, PE, who has joined the company as a Vice President in our Houston West Office. In his role, Joe will focus on providing project management and developing business to grow the water resource practice.
A graduate from the University of Houston, Joe has over 34 years of project and program management, design and construction experience involving flood control, hike and bike trails and municipal infrastructure projects. Joe served most recently as the City Engineer for the City of Houston, the fourth largest city in the country. Prior to his tenure with the City, Joe was the Program Manager for the Houston Parks Board’s $250 million Bayou Greenways 2020 Program. Before that, he spent 26 years with the Harris County Flood Control District, retiring as its Infrastructure Division Manager in 2011.
