Huitt-Zollars welcomes Ricardo Vazquez, RPLS, as Survey Manager in Houston West

We are excited to announce that Ricardo “Ric” Vazquez, RPLS, has joined Huitt-Zollars as the Survey Department Manager in our Houston West office. A Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in Texas with more than 30 years’ experience, he is well-versed in all aspects of land surveying.

He has performed a wide variety of surveys ranging from single lot surveys to an “as-built” of a chemical plant under construction. With extensive land development experience, Ric has been involved in the platting process of many subdivisions in the City of Houston and throughout Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery counties, and his construction experience spans from tunnels to high-rise buildings.

Ric is a current member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) and has served as a Director, Secretary, and Treasurer of TSPS’s local chapter. He also gives back to the local community through volunteering and was honored with “Volunteer of the Year” award from both the Houston Proud and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Ric was a founding member of the "Making Strides Against Cancer" walk-a-thon for the American Cancer Society, co-race director and founder of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Leprechaun Classic Fun Run, and served as vice-president of the Chevron Houston Marathon board.
