Apollo/Saturn V Visitor Center

The 100,000-square-foot Apollo/Saturn V Visitor Center tells the story of the Apollo Space Program and lunar landings. From the moment visitors enter, they are engaged in a story which leads them through theater presentations, dynamic exhibits, and displays throughout the plaza to create the drama and excitement of mans' journey to the moon and safe return to earth. The story-telling concept along with visitor flow considerations shaped the functional layout of the building and strongly influenced its architectural theme.
