Kemah Boardwalk

This project scope included completion of the master plan for an exciting family-oriented waterfront boardwalk in Kemah, Texas. This dynamic multi-venue project creates a one-third-mile pedestrian entertainment district complete with five existing restaurants, three new restaurants (including an aquarium restaurant), as well as an amusement area with a 60-foot ferris wheel, carousel, and tower slide. Also included is a large multi-level shopping area consisting of retail boutiques with “participatory” dancing water fountains and landscaping connecting to a high quality hotel designed in the Gulf Coast vernacular. A parking structure for 750 cars complements the facility.
