Winrock Center Redevelopment

Huitt-Zollars continues to provide civil engineering services for the renovation and redevelopment of Winrock Center. A comprehensive design solution, transportation/traffic analysis and design; utility upgrades including water mains and service, wastewater collection mains and stormwater; drainage studies; environmental assessment; and architectural compatibility have been provided. Public and neighborhood meetings were conducted throughout the design process; public concerns were addressed and accepted by all stakeholders. The regional center reflects a “main street” concept. Two boulevards flank retailers while linking surrounding Uptown development with pedestrian and vehicle access. Landscaped plazas provide green space, encourage outdoor activity, alfresco dining, cultural and recreational activities.
