Pech Road

Huitt-Zollars prepared a preliminary engineering report and provided final design, bidding, and construction phase services for the reconstruction of 3,000 LF of Pech Road for the City of Houston. The project required replacing existing asphalt street and open ditches with a 41-foot reinforced concrete pavement with curb and gutter and the replacement of approximately 3,000 feet of sanitary sewer lines and waterlines. Other enhancement included bringing the sidewalks and driveways in the neighborhood up to the City’s standard. Due to the quality of trees on this project, tree protection was an integral part of the design and construction documents.
