Huitt-Zollars is pleased to announce the promotion of William “Bill” Hoelscher, RA, LEED AP, to Vice President. In this role, he will serve as a Principal of the firm and Project Manager on architecture projects and will continue to lead business development initiatives for this discipline.
Bill joined Huitt-Zollars in October 2000 and has provided complete architectural design and space planning services on a wide range of projects including industrial, transit operations and maintenance, and government facilities as well as offices, retail outlets, and restaurants. With his leadership and management of these projects, he has consistently shown dedication to clients through his attention to quality, innovative designs and commendable Client service.
A subject matter expert on maintenance, service, and operations facilities, Bill frequently speaks at industry and trade conferences. He served as Project Architect and Project Manager for several transit operations and maintenance facilities projects including Pierce Transit MOBI, Sound Transit, Denton County Transit Authority, and Waco Transit Authority Operations. Through multiple federal contracts including with the General Services Administration, the US Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, and the Department of Homeland Security, Bill has designed projects for most federal agencies and departments. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Art from the University of Dallas and his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. Bill is a registered architect in Texas, Oklahoma, and Washington, and is also a LEED accredited professional.
