Huitt-Zollars is excited to announce Matthew Ford, RA, AIA, LEED Green Associate, has joined the firm as a Vice President. From our Dallas office, he will lead and continue to expand the firm’s architectural practice throughout North Texas.
With over three decades of experience as a leader in senior level project management, interior architecture and technical direction, Matthew brings a broad range of experience in various practice areas and an in-depth ability to synthesize design ideas, technology, architecture, marketing, and sustainability. Throughout his tenure as an architect, he has served as a Vice President, Director of Architecture, Associate Principal, and Technical Director on a number of noteworthy projects including Westin Dallas Downtown, Toyota Corporate Center Executive Lounge in McKinney, Iron Mountain AZP2B1 in Phoenix, Locke Lord LLP in Austin and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and U.S. Supreme Court Modernization in Washington, DC.
Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland School of Architecture. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in the History and Theory of Architecture from the Architectural Association in London, England, and has a Professional Practice Architect Certification Part III from London’s South Bank Polytechnic University.
